If you’ve been to the seaside or on a boat you’ll know that waves can be powerful and there are so many of them we can’t possibly count them all. What if we were able to take some power from a few of them? Scientists and engineers have been working to create devices to harness the power of the waves. It is a difficult task because the forces of the sea can damage the equipment. It is possible that island communities and coastal communities around the world might see wave power help them in the future.
